What Guests say about our Longhorn Tours

What a wonderful time my folks had on our tour. Many said it was the highlight of our 4-day Mystery Tour of Ohio. We were happy to find the ranch. It was great to be introducing everyone to your wonderful facility for the first time. Going out in the ranch buses and getting "up close" with the cattle was really exciting. The commentary was so informative and entertaining.

Our field trip to the Dickinson Cattle Co was wonderful! Our first graders were in awe at these huge cows and their huge horns. The children talked about them for weeks. The Dickinson Cattle Co was truly a great place to visit.

We appreciated the Christian slant we were greeted with on our recent Longhorn Tour. The bus ride was invigorating and our 90 senior citizens loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Longhorn Tour. Our bus driver was very informative, friendly and entertaining. We went into the pastures where there weren't even any other bus tracks. We were able to view the cattle right up close, then a baby calf was brought right on the ranch bus and paraded down the aisle for all to see. Everyone got a kick out of that! All who participated had nothing but positive comments about the tour.

Our second grade students go annually on a field trip to Dickinson Cattle Co. It provides them with hands-on experiences with our reading curriculum. The students especially enjoy seeing and learning about various kinds of cattle, learning roping techniques and how cattle are branded. It's very worthwhile.

The highlight of our five day trip was a stop at Dickinson's. You won't find more gracious hosts than Darol and his staff. Everyone in our group enjoyed the tour, and the Ranch Bar-B-Q lunch was delicious! We hated to leave. The Seniors in our group are still talking about the tour. We REALLY enjoyed our visit.

Our group has been coming to Dickinson's since they started offering tours. I can honestly say, that our group has found it to be very informative, enjoyable, and entertaining. Who would think that you would find a bit of Texas, right here in Ohio? It's a great place to spend the day. All of us are looking forward to coming back again. Thanks for all of your hospitality.

The Longhorn Tour is a unique experience for our senior groups. Everyone feels welcome. The ranch buses get everyone up close to the big colorful herds. This attraction is also a great mystery stop. We've had 3 groups here this year and plan more visits.

We have visited Dickinson Ranch several times with our motor coach groups, and it is always a highlight. Since we have both men and women, it is often hard to find something that is of interest to both. Everyone likes this tour. We are including it next summer on our Grandparents and Grandchildren trip as it is always fun!

Thank you for providing the perfect culminating activity to our reading story "Round-up at Rio Ranch". You made the story come alive. The following are student comments who toured the ranch: Better than just reading about it in our book--Mr. Dickinson actually let us hold a rope and he showed us how to rope a pretend cow--It felt like I was a real cowboy--You will love going through the pastures--You get to yell yeee-haww any time you want on the purple ranch bus--I got to feed a bull--A young bull stuck it's head in the bus door and I got to feed it right out of my hand--It was exciting to see the huge horned bulls--I touched one's nose--I loved feeding the catfish and watching them come up to the top to eat--We got to talk to a real cowboy--You can have a memory of the ranch from the gift shop. We highly recommend this field trip for school groups, families, or anyone who wants to experience an extraordinary day. We plan to make this field trip an annual fall event.

"Tour a cattle ranch?" Some of our customers asked as Fidelity steered them to Dickinson Cattle Co. They absolutely loved it! We even had a few passengers that had been with us from the year before. The tour is quite interesting and informative for any age and any gender. The icing on the cake: bring a cooler for some great tasting Longhorn beef to take home. Simply "mooo-velous!" Happy trails at Longhorn Tours!

Thank you and your staff so much for making our September 11 Mystery Tour a huge success. We were originally scheduled for a brief tour and lunch at your ranch prior to going on a tour of Cambridge, Ohio and a train ride in nearby Byesville. One day prior to our tour, Cambridge flooded, the tracks were under water, and our plans had to change. Thank goodness for you and your staff. At the last minute, you saved the day for our passengers when you were able to provide extra group entertainment with roping and branding demonstrations. The group loved the experience, the meal and tour were quality as promised. It turned out to be a great day for our guests, and a great mystery tour. We appreciate that you take pride in your operation and service customers with genuine concern. Thanks again.
